The Franc Arman winery extends over 8 hectares in Narduci in western Istria. The ideal soil and climate conditions are reflected in the wines, because for Franc Arman and his son Oliver, quality begins in the vineyard.
With over 100 years of tradition, they select only the best, hand-picked grapes for their award-winning wines. These acquire their characteristic aromas in the five-meter-deep wine cellar: fresh, sparkling wines are produced in stainless steel barrels, while powerful top-quality wines mature in large wooden and barrique barrels that convince even the most demanding connoisseurs.
The Teran Barrique is made from strictly selected grapes with low yields and matures for 12 months in barrique barrels. Its ruby red color, the noble aroma of wild berries with a hint of vanilla and the strong, full-bodied taste make it unique. Served at 18°C, it goes perfectly with meat and game dishes, prosciutto, mature cheese and truffle dishes.
