Rioja Gran Reserva LAN is the magic of capturing time. It presents our finest fruit from old vines, with the complexity and harmony that long maturation times give. Grapes from vineyards over 40 years old in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa on clay-calcareous soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks to ensure a long-lasting maceration at a controlled temperature for the optimal extraction of tannins and all the aromatic potential. Aged for 28 months in hybrid barrels of American oak (staves) and French oak (heads), followed by 36 months in bottle.
Deep garnet red with a ruby red rim. Intense bouquet of ripe black fruits, figs, dried fruits and intense spice and smoke notes. Harmoniously balanced on the palate, with polished tannins and a long finish, characterized by the aromas of black fruits and spices.
Goes excellently with grilled meat and fish, stews, game and all types of cheese.
