LAN a Mano embodies craftsmanship in wine form and fulfils all the promises of a great wine. It embodies the style, character and identity of Rioja. The grapes come from Pago El Rincón, Viña Lanciano, where bush vines aged 40-45 years were harvested by hand and selected on a double selection table.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in small, conical stainless steel tanks, while malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels with weekly stirring of the lees. It is aged for a minimum of 9 months in French oak barrels from the Tronçais and Jupille forests and a further 4 months in Caucasian oak barrels.
The color is deep garnet red with dark accents. It reveals notes of black fruits such as blackberries, blueberries and ripe plum, accompanied by spicy nuances of clove and cinnamon, followed by toasted notes that combine with the fruit and the characteristic minerality of the terroir of Viña Lanciano.
Powerful, broad and well structured, with soft tannins that blend with the fruity notes, leaving a long and pleasant finish.
Goes very well with grilled and fried meat.
