At Poliziano, probably under the influence of two of Federico Carletti's college friends, the famous Italian oenologists Maurizio Castelli and Carlo Ferrini, the focus has been on quality from the very beginning and high standards have been maintained both in the vineyard and in the cellar. This also includes the idea that an entry-level wine should not simply be the reject of the main wine, but should be taken seriously and should have its own vineyards reserved for it.

For this Rosso di Montepulciano, Federico Carletti has implemented this idea in an exemplary manner and created a completely unique wine. This wine, which combines the region's Sangiovese with a fifth of Merlot, can inspire with a fascinating mixture of fresh, herbal spice and full-bodied fruit and unfolds its animating character when served slightly chilled. Perfect with tagliatelle all ragù or dishes from southern Tuscany.
