The Grande Cuvée from the family winery Viña Pilato in Lasici, Istria, Croatia, is a masterpiece made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Teran - the first red wine cuvée from Elido Pilato. This noble creation impresses with its intense, ruby red color and a complex bouquet. Clear notes of ripe red and black fruits blend harmoniously with the elegant aromas of oak barrels, leather, dark chocolate and a hint of spices.
The Grande Cuvée matured for two years in new oak barrels and then refined for a further three years in the bottle. This careful maturation process gives the wine an extraordinary depth and complexity. With its moderate alcohol content and velvety warmth, it develops a soft texture that is accompanied by ripe, subtly sweet tannins.
