Coronica is a family winery owned by Moreno since 1992. The philosophy is that “wine must taste like wine”, so the unique wines are a pure product of Istrian tradition.
This exceptional red wine is only produced in the best years with the high-quality Teran grapes of the Coronica family, which are harvested at optimal ripeness.
The result is a powerful, balanced wine that should continue to develop and unfold over the next ten years if stored under the right conditions in the cellar.
Concentrated aromas of red cherries, plum jam and dried Mediterranean herbs on the nose, accompanied on the palate by hints of blackberries and smoking tobacco from aging in oak barrels.
Well-rounded tannins are balanced with a fresh acidity that gives the wine elegance. Gran Teran is not produced every year, but only when the grapes are suitable for producing this exceptional wine
Goes well with steak, lamb and all meat dishes, but also pasta or mature cheese.
