Teran Livio(Anno Domini) - Benvenuti 2019

One of the best red wines from the indigenous Teran grape variety comes from the Benvenuti family winery in Kaldir in the heart of Istria. An absolute dream wine, whose grapes find ideal climatic conditions in the vineyards in Španjole, 300 meters above sea level.

After a 20-day maceration, the Teran Anno Domini matured for around 24 months in oak barrels. Lively, fresh, but also complex at the same time, the Teran impresses with its balanced structure and minerality, which give it great aging potential.

Before drinking, the Teran should definitely be decanted so that it can unfold its full potential in the glass. The smell of blueberries, cherries and plums is clearly recognizable, rounded off by lively aromas of Mediterranean herbs.
