Babic Barrique - Zlatan Otok 2012

Zlatan Babić Barrique is an outstanding dry red wine made from the indigenous Babić grape variety, which thrives ideally on the rocky soils of the Šibenik region. This variety is known for its fruity aromas, intense flavor and distinctive characteristics. The wine is made from carefully hand-picked grapes from our youngest organic vineyard in Jadrtovac. After vinification, it matures for 8 to 12 months in barrique oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and structure.

In the glass, the Zlatan Babić Barrique appears in an elegant ruby ​​red. Its rich, multi-layered character is supported by warm alcohols and balanced, moderate tannins. On the palate, a complex aroma unfolds, dominated by intense fruit notes such as berries, ripe cherries and red plums. This full-bodied wine impresses with its harmony and depth and is a wonderful expression of the uniqueness of the Babić grape variety.
