Cabernet Sauvignon - noble grapevine (Vitis vinifera subsp. vinifera) is a red wine variety that is widespread throughout the world and originally comes from the Bordeaux region. With over 310,000 hectares of vineyards, it is the most widely cultivated grape variety in the world. Despite the different influences of soil, climate and vinification, it retains its characteristic taste.

The variety is a natural cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Typical characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon wines are the scent of black currants (cassis), often accompanied by cedar wood notes, and a deep dark color. Their wines are characterized by concentrated fruit aromas, strong tannins and a supporting acid structure.
